I grew up within a society which totally respect etiquette without questioning it. Where I live many believe England and many northern countries (northern than Italy, I know...stereotypes...) have no proper etiquette. For them this lack is trivial and barbaric. I probably thought the same before spending 4 years in England.
Constrictions, till I was living with my parents, taught me how to behave correctly (at least in Italy). Coming here I had to question all these 'truths'.
Now I think there is nothing worse than leaving in one country all your life and leaving following an etiquette, on the other hand there is nothing better than leaving in a country following etiquette and then leave to discover there was no need for etiquette. I discovered a new world and I am glad that I learnt something that I despise so much now. I can make my project looking at different lights.
